The presence of bacteria and loose teeth are interrelated to each other. After eating food particles are left in between teeth and gums. Microorganisms fed themselves on food debris and multiply inside the mouth that can cause gum disease. Severe gum disease like periodontitis, an advanced phase to gingivitis, destroys the bone structure that holds the teeth.

Gum tissues are destroyed resulting to loose teeth and may fall out later if not given proper medication. Having healthy teeth does not matter with age. Good oral hygiene is everybody’s task. Teeth are designed to lasts a lifetime if properly taken care of. But certain conditions can make teeth wear even at an early age.

It is a must that we give importance to our dental health. It may speak with the status of our general health in particular. Studies show that certain dental and gum disease may be an indicator that is related to a more serious condition beyond our mouth. Before bacteria can destroy the gums and teeth make sure to have a good oral routine. The most basic way is by brushing and flossing teeth regularly especially every after meal.

Using good quality dental products like soft-polished toothbrush will prevent gums from getting irritated. Fluoride content toothpaste-will prevent bacteria from attacking the teeth. Gargle with mouthwash which has an anti-bacterial property to keep our mouth clean and have fresh breath.  Regular visit to your oral hygienist once in every six months is a good practice. Freely discuss matters to him if you have noticed any dental problems you are experiencing during visits.

In this way, the dentist can perform check-up and make diagnosis if uncertain conditions are present. They will be able to determine any presence of gum and dental related diseases. The next step would be recommending you for treatment to address the problem properly just in time.
